Pakistan Fashion Week is an annual fashion event organized in Karachi, which is the largest metropolitan city of Pakistan. This fabulous fashion fair was first started in 2010 with an ambition to provide an esteemed platform to the fast thriving fashion industry of the country where they might be able to showcase their designs and brands at global level with pride. Before Pakistan Fashion Week, perhaps it was beyond imagination for the outside world to consider Pakistan as a land of highly talented fashion thinkers and brand developers. Pakistan Fashion Week was passionately joined by several eminent fashion designers across the country where they now participate every year twice with the wonderful visual statements of their ravishing collections.

The governing body of Pakistan Fashion Week is known as the Fashion Pakistan Council (FPC) which comprises of leading fashion icons who are working with a vision to assist Pakistani fashion designers reach their highest probable and also to organize fashion events of international standards for them. They are working with the collaboration of world renowned global brands and World Fashion Organization. Such affiliations have certainly helped FPC for the opening of new doors of professionalism, competence and learning for Pakistani fashion figures. Via this platform, they are now able to attend the globally recognized educational seminars, workshops and orientation sessions related to the field of fashion.

Pakistan Fashion Week has now become a successful venture facilitating the fashion entrepreneurs of Pakistan in expanding their business and products along with generating revenues for the whole fashion fraternity of the country. There are also some of the illustrious awards giving ceremonies that definitely boast the morale of the distinguished fashioners of the industry. The most recent event was ‘FPW Autumn/Winter 2014’ that was held from November 25-27 in Karachi.
